While swimming back home, they all met two scared-looking dolphins. Emilia listened as they told her how they had got rid of a horrible shark that had been chasing them all day.

As they spoke, the dolphins became calmer. Emilia let them finish the whole story, smiling gently to them.

“No wonder you have so many friends,” one of them said. “You really know how to listen!”

The dolphin was right, Emilia thought to herself. Listening was the real treasure she could give to her friends.

The next day, Emilia and her new friends built sandcastles together and played “tag”, enjoying the warm rays of the sun.
